Six Nuclear Reactor plants in India and six Reactors in AP


Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Obama an agreement has been signed between the two countries regarding Six Nuclear Reactor Construction.  The six Nuclear Reactors Construction will be done by US Company. Regarding the Construction of Six Nuclear Plants in India Agreement will be come to a final decision that the two counties srt a deadline to this year Ending.

Regarding the construction of six reactors  the Engineering and Site designing work may starts soon and the Agreement will be in Implemented in the Year 2017 by NPCIL (Nuclear Power Company India Limited) and Toshiba Company Associated Westing House an US Firm came to a decision.

Actually the Westing House Company planed to set up the Six Reactors plant in Gujarat at Mithi Vardhi. But due to land Acquisition problem it was moved to Andhra Pradesh. Now the Nuclear Reactors are going to Construct in Andhra Pradesh at Kovvada Coastal Area.


The Six Nuclear Reactors which is a Capacity of 1000 Mega watts that Westing company going to construct here in India. The NPCIL will be take care off the Maintenance of the Reactors. Now in AP the Land Acquisition is under Process. But the The Local Authorities opposing to Construct the Plant at Kovvada.

The Two Countries India and USA Signed First Civil Nuclear Agreement of Nuclear Reactors Plant Construction in  India in 2008.
