Story:

Abhiram(NTR) is an young entrepreneur based in London. One fine day, he comes to know that his father(Rajendra Prasad) is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is in his last stages of life. An upset Abhiram, rushes back home to confront his dad.

During this time, Abhiram’s father reveals that his last wish is to see Krishnamurthy(Jagapathi Babu), the richest Indian in UK gets defeated in life. He further reveals to Abhiram how Krishnamurthy had ripped of his property and happiness by cheating him big time. Rest of the story is as to how Abhiram dethrones Krishnamurthy and fulfills his father’s dying wish

Performance:

Jr NTR Facing ups and Downs in his career and he is looking for a Block Buster Hit in his career and waiting since Simhadri an Industry Hit from there he didn't cross the line of Breaking Hit in his career which are Hits, average to Flop. In 2015 Satrting he has back with a Decent Hit like 'Temper' and now he is connecting the Audience and Fans with a Block Buster Hit 'Nannaku Prematho.

Thumps Up for Jr NTR's Performance as Struggling son for his Father. The way the actor thumps and clamps with the Srinivas Avasarala and Rajeev Kanakala is simply a brilliant at the pre climax episode. Rakul Preet Singhis charming in her role. She shares an enchanting chemistry with Jr. NTR. I wish that they had got Rakul’s voice dubbed by someone else though. Jagapathi Babu is a screen charmer. His salt and pepper look is apt for this role and his dialogue delivery is superb. Rajendra Prasad has nothing much to do in the titular role, and even his facial expressions are those that we have seen in innumerable films of his before. Madhoo, Naveen, Liza van der Smissen and Thagubothu Ramesh chipped in nicely in their limited characters. Baby Vernika was a delight to watch in a small cameo.

Technical Team:

Direction: Sukumar Latest Block Buster as a Producer 'Kumari 21F' is the Happy ending for Sukumar in 2015. Now 'Nannaku Prematho' is the Great Starting for Sukumar in 2016  along with combination of Jr NRT and Devi Sri Prasad. Sukumar has once again made something that is different from the routine. Looks like he has learned a lesson or two from his past mistakes that he didn't opt for confusing screenplay. He did well in etching the protagonist and antagonist characters. There are so many instances that show the brilliance of this intelligent filmmaker. However he has gone overboard at times with the intelligence part.

Music and Others Departments: Songs are pretty good. Background score is nice too. Devi did a nice job. Cinematography is impressive. Chase scenes and the action episodes are well shot. Editing is not up to the mark. Movies of this kind should be short and crisp. Dialogue is well written with so much logic and philosophy to it.

Plus points:
  • NTR Performance (Acting, Dilogues and Dances)
  • Settings are superb (Art work is good)
  • Devi sri music is good asset to the movie
  • Some comedy scenes are good
  • Jagapathi babu and Rajendra prasad done decent job
Minus points:
  • Long run time
  • Slow narration

Verdict:

Another Decent Start in Tollywood after ' Nenu... Sailaja' in 2016.
