The Parrots which are a Birds looks so nice and friendly in Green Colour and Red Color Nose that Nature is flying with it's beauty. If we see a twin Parrots our mind feels so pleasant and Peaceful. If we see thousands of Parrots at a time on a place. It looks so amazing to all of us.
The Man who is from Chennai C.Sekhar at his home we can see thousand of Parrots. So Many people are used to visit Sekhar's house to see this Wonder of Parrots.
In Chennai Metro it is Pi Craft Road...Early in the Mornings Number of parrots Cover the sky with their presence, wings Sounds and Smoothy Voice. The Parrots come from many unknown different places and give a wake up call to all in that area. They Land at Sekhar's House Terrace.
Sekhar daily feed the Parrots with Rice in the Mornings and Evenings. In the Mornings before the parrots landing at his home he prepare the feed for the Parrots. On the Terrace of his House he set a rows of wood benches for the parrot feed.
He prepare daily 20 Kilograms of Raw rice and soak them in water and dry it. The food ready to serve the parrots. Sekhar put the rice on the wood benches and invite the Parrots with heart fully to take Breakfast. The Parrots also very happy to eat the Breakfast at his home only.
The feeding and eating style of Parrots makes surround public so happy and Eye Sparkling. Daily Morning and evening this Daily routine is well known to the area public from past 11 Years.
Tsunami took changes in his life:
Every one knew that in 2004 how Chennai Tsunami creates tremendous problem. At that time one day two parrots are looks so hungry and weak on Sekhar's House terrace. After watching this Sekhar get emotional. He thought that they are hungry and put some rice to them fed up.
Wonder by the next day along with the 2 parrots another bunch of 10 parrots joined with them. Sekhar fed all those. from there daily the bunch of Parrots count is increased and now the count is more than 2000. In the Rainy season the count is more than 4000.
To feed the parrots his daily routine starts at 4'O Clock in the morning. the parrots will come daily 6'O clock. so 2 hours before he starts preparation for the feed. In the Evening time the parrots will come at 4'O Clock he starts the preparation before and place the Rice on time for the Parrots.
Sekhar says that for many years he is doing this that feeding the parrots in between the time lapse that he may hunger strike with out food, but he never kept them with out food. The Parrots also convey their Gratitude to Sekhar that they never had the food with out Sekhar Presence. If any body feed food to them they never take it with out Sekhar's presence. So Sekhar stops going out and touring.
Sekahr was a native of Dharmapuri and he is living in Chennai from past 35 Years. basically he is a Camera Mechanic form his profession his earnings are very little,But he is in that Only. If any one asks him about this how long it could be continue like this...he smiles and says it'll continue "till the time how long Parrots will come or up to the time he's alive"he says with smile looking at them.
So Often people are call him a 'Bird Man'. what ever it is so grateful feeding a thousands of Parrot Bunch coming to his house daily.... taking food it is so sweet and Graceful..!
We should Appreciate C. Sekhar's initiative towards to the Parrots. Taking Sekhar as Inspiration all bird lovers and Public make move to adopt the Birds. Give a space in our daily life to protect and survive the Birds. Spend few time to feed and live life them.
We made this world as a Concrete Jungle... Spoiled the Nature for our sake. we swept the all hopes to lead them life Freely and Naturally. This is the season of Hot Summer feed the Birds with food and Water to clear their Hunger and Thirst....! It's our Mission.
